Wooden knobs are available in many sizes and shapes, with different wood types being used and are usually supplied sanded and unfinished. Fixing the Wooden Knobs will either be by a wood screw or by the threaded screw provided with those knobs that require them. For best fixing results, a small amount of glue should be applied to the back of the knob. This will prevent the wooden knobs from twisting in use and prevent them being accidentally unscrewed.

The wooden knobs can be finished in a variety of ways, depending on there use. They will take wood dyes as they are made from solid wood and can be oiled or varnished. They also take paint very well and can either be self coloured before fixing or painted the same colour along with the entire item.
